Velox has taken over Spécialités TA following financial difficulties for the component manufacturer, Bike Europe reports.
Spécialités TA will stay in its current location in Sissonne, France, and former owner Gérard Blot will stay to handle the integration of all the manufacturing and operating processes.
Velox CEO Patrick Guinard said: “The acquisition of Spécialités TA allows us to increase our product range substantially, while we also share a lot of distributors.
“Spécialités TA has a real added value for us, they are still producing in France which goes very well with the expertise of Velox.”
In 2017, Velox, based in Argenteuil, France, posted a turn-over of €3 million.
Spécialités TA’s total sales amounted to €1.7 million last year.
