Velosure is now a World Record breaker

Velosure Cycle Claims and Cycle Insurance is now an official Guinness World Records holder.

The team at Velosure opted to demonstrate their passion for cycling by making an attempt to break the world record for most participants in a static cycle relay in eight hours. With the help of the public, Velosure broke the record with a total of 329 participants, eight better than the previous holders.

The feat took place at the Eroica Britannia Festival in Buxton, which also included vintage cycling events and revellers kitted out in tweed and merino wool.

At around 7pm, and after eight hours of teamwork, 329 participants had taken the challenge and the team were officially confirmed as world record breakers.

A representative from Velosure commented: “We could not have done it without your help and so we just wanted to say a huge, huge thank you to all who participated in our Guinness World Records attempt. This is why Velosure will always be by cyclists, for cyclists.”

Velosure offers a cycle accident claims service fronted by cycle injury specialists. For more information, contact
