Clothing line to appeal to vintage, classic and retro market

Veloist.cc announces apparel label

The founder of the Half Baked Brand, James Aston has told BikeBiz of a new label – veloist.cc – targetted at the vintage, classic and retro market.

Devon-based Veloist.cc launched as a lifestyle blog for posting and sharing cycling news and will now become an online platform for sales.

Aston said: “I launched veloist.cc to encompass a love of classic retro cycling products, information and stories, one of my favourite pieces is our ‘Steady Eddy’ jersey, a tribute to Eddy Merckx, you can also expect to see additions to the product range later this year including long sleeve fine merino wool tops.”

The majority of Veloist jerseys are to be made using Coolmax fabric, known for its breathability and strong wicking characteristics. Men’s jerseys all feature three rear pockets and silicon grippers around the hem to stop the garment riding up.
