Leicester’s Vélobici is to extend its partnership with Giro D’italia winner Danilo Di Luca by launching a clothing and footwear collection. Branded with Di Luca’s nickname – “the killer” – the Killer collection will be launched on 14th April at Café Ventoux in Tugby, Leicestershire.
Vélobici previously partnered with Di Luca for the making of the Vélobici Continental bike. The new Killer collection consists of a jersey, speedsuit, bib shorts, baselayers and socks.
The jersey is made from VB/Pro-VR2, a performance nylon, developed with a honeycomb fabric construction..
The ‘Killer’ bib shorts are made from 280g VB/Pro-VR1 performance fibre. They feature a bioceramic VB Pad, as do the ‘Killer Collection’ speedsuits.
The collection’s carbon-soled road shoes are handmade in Italy. Available in two styles, the KS1 with Atop lace system and the laced leather Vito Collection.
