To mark its 60th company anniversary, VELO DE VILLE is launching a special charity campaign: Under the motto “60 Years – 60 FR8s for a Good Cause”, the bicycle manufacturer from Altenberge will donate a total of 60 individually configurable cargo bikes (FR8) to non-profit organisations, associations and social institutions in Germany and Europe.
A robust, versatile cargo bike can be used in youth welfare to transport materials, deliver food boxes in neighbourhood projects, enable small excursions in kindergartens, or bring people closer together in community support initiatives. More and more often, it is exactly these kinds of projects that achieve great things in everyday life, but often have to manage with very limited resources.
And this is exactly where the project comes in, as VELO DE VILLE would like to support this valuable work with 60 cargo bikes.
How the application works
From now on, non-profit organisations, associations, social institutions and public bodies can apply online via the campaign page.
The application period runs from January 5 to January 31, 2026. A brief description of the organisation, the specific intended use of the FR8, and contact details are required. In addition, images or videos can be submitted. The more creative and vivid, the better. The selection will be made by a selected jury.
