Tweedlove Cycling Festival seeking volunteers

The organisers of the TweedLove Cycling Festival, in conjunction with Alpine Bikes, are looking for volunteers to help manage the ten-day bike festival.

"Last year TweedLove was a big success, not only in numbers of visitors and income generated, but just as importantly, because everyone thoroughly enjoyed the events and the friendly atmosphere. Our volunteers play a massive part in that," said organiser Neil Dalgleish.

"Last year so many riders commented on what a great reception they were given, and to be honest it doesn’t surprise me. The Tweed Valley has an amazing population of cycle fans, and they’re proud to share the good times our local roads and trails can offer.

"Even if volunteers are only available for a limited time, either before the event or during the festival itself, all help is most welcome, and the volunteers certainly won’t go unrewarded."

All volunteers need to be over 16 years old. Previous volunteer experience is not necessary. Anyone interested in joining the TweedLove team should email info@tweedlove.com.
