True recruits Andrew Bernstein

True Communications has announced that Andrew Bernstein has joined its team of outdoor industry professionals who service the agency’s growing list of clients.

Bernstein joins True from Bicycling Magazine, where he served as gear editor (2010-2013), senior marketing manager (2013-2018), and sales account manager (2018), and brings with him a long history of working with bike industry clients on shaping communication strategies including content, social, and event activations.

“Someone with Andrew’s breadth of skill and experience is incredibly difficult to find. We are all super glad to have him join our team,” said True Communication’s founder and CEO Mark Riedy. “Andrew will be instrumental in helping brands develop strategies that leverage all of the communications channels that are available. His years of experience working in, and helping to shape, the ever-changing media landscape will be invaluable to the companies we partner with.”

Bernstein will be relocating to Colorado in September, helping True to establish a presence in the region. “Andrew’s knowledge of the active outdoor business will allow us to better serve one of our core missions: helping clients connect with their existing and potential customers in more meaningful ways through communicating authentic, meaningful communications,” concluded Riedy.
