Brand celebrates its thirtieth year in the business

Troy Lee awards Fisher prize on 30th anniversary

Troy Lee Designs, three decades young this year, has awarded Fisher its top distributor accolade.

The St Albans-based firm received the title at a recent Troy Lee international sales gathering.

Fisher said it has big plans for the brand in 2011 and beyond, with an ad and PR campaign and, for the first time, a programme of nationwide event sponsorship. This year Troy Lee will be category sponsor of the British Downhill and Gravity Enduro Series, as well as supporting regional events like the Aston Hill Black run.

Since 1981 Troy Lee has designed helmets and clothing worn by riding in a variety of disciplines from trail riders to World Championships. Its widely acclaimed D3 helmet is among its best known product offerings.

Troy Lee product manager at Fisher Jon Sangan said: “With such stiff competition from around the world we are really pleased to be given this accolade.

“2011 sees a range of fantastic new products as well as exciting sponsorship and PR activity. Now is the time to speak to your Fisher Territory Account Manager about becoming a Troy Lee stockist.”

The brand will be at Fisher’s Expo show at Sopwell House, showcasing the Ace, Sprint and Skyline shorts as well as the D3 helmet and new Air gloves. The brand’s casual wear will now incorporate official Steve McQueen licenced product.
