Following the launch of its School of Certified Service in the US, Trek has confirmed to BikeBiz that it is planning to launch additional schools in Europe and APAC.
The UK is in the running to be the location for the European school, though the decision has yet to be made.
"Currently, service staff from UK retailers can attend the School of Certified Service in our global headquarters in Waterloo, WI," a spokesperson told BikeBiz. "However, we do plan to roll out additional schools, as identical as possible, in Europe and APAC within the next 18 months."
The US facility is located at Trek’s manufacturing and R&D facility and features over 2000 square feet of dedicated educational space, capable of serving up to 20 students at any one time, with courses scheduled across most of the year. Reps from development partners like Shimano and SRAM will guest lecture at the school.
