Brand opens with Tiso and Alpine Bikes in Glasgow

Trek Bicycle opens first store in Scotland

The UK’s third Trek Bicycle Store, and the first of its kind in Scotland, opened in Glasgow on March 23rd.

The Trek store is housed inside the Tiso Glasgow Outdoor Experience, featuring one of the largest selections of Trek and Bontrager products in Scotland, with over 70 bikes in store.

Spanning 2,500 square feet, the new Trek Bicycle Store offers a complete selection of bikes from Trek, ranging from Project One customised packages to bikes for children, as well as accessory items from Bontrager.

Trek UK general manager Nigel Roberts explained: "Given our long-standing relationship with Alpine, partnering with that organisation for Scotland’s first Trek Bicycle Store was an easy choice.

"We know that customers to the new store will benefit from Alpine’s years of providing a great shopping experience, and they will have the added benefit of seeing the largest range of Trek and Bontrager products in Scotland."

Alpine Bikes director Bryan Shedden said he believed that the store opening will be welcomed by the Scottish cycling community: "We’re excited about the opening of this store. It will showcase Trek’s extensive range of bikes, clothing, and equipment to the growing number of Scottish cyclists, " said Shedden. "This shop will have something for every type of cyclist, from a kid’s first bike up to top-end road bikes for competing at the highest level."

Trek Bicycle Store Alpine Glasgow will be open seven days a week.
