Internal sales – Silverfish
Silverfish is looking for an internal sales representative to join it in its office in sunny (not guaranteed) Saltash, Cornwall. If you have a passion for all things cycling, whether it’s mountain biking, gravel biking or road cycling, and you are excited to stay up to date with the latest and greatest industry trends and products releases, then you may be the ideal candidate for this role. The role is fast-paced with plenty of variety, so managing your time well to ensure tasks are dealt with in a timely manner and with professionalism will be key. Being a team player yet having the ability to work independently will be essential. It wants a positive, friendly and ‘can do’ kind of person to join, so if you think you have got all this then Silverfish definitely wants to hear from you.
Store quarterback – Swift Cycles
Think of yourself as the store quarterback. You’re as happy talking to customers on the phone or in person as you are building bikes, ordering and booking-in stock or merchandising. You’ll have set responsibilities throughout the day, but it is a busy store and you’ll often be disrupted with a phone call or conversation, so you need to be organised enough to stay on task despite these disruptions. You also need to be an excellent communicator – able to understand from a brief conversation a customer’s needs and then pitch solutions that satisfy them using language that is commensurate with their experience level.
Mechanic – Freebike
Freebike is hiring for a certified mechanic. Do you fancy a challenge, building and repairing its bespoke electric fleet? Do you love working with new tech? The aim of the game is to keep fellow Londoners pedalling by keeping its bicycles functional and safe. Freebike is a responsible bike-share provider. It aims to put everybody on two wheels, old, young, smart or scruffy. It’ll get you to lunch, a business meeting or for a leisurely ride around town. Freebike has positions available covering Central London and the West End.
Bicycle mechanic for new tech startup – Handlebars
Handlebars is a brand new start-up and part of the JustPark family. The business is in its initial stages and the next major step is to run a pilot which will help to determine wider scale roll-out strategy. This is a rare opportunity to join a business from the beginning! It is looking for friendly mechanics who are comfortable both fixing bicycles and talking to customers. The ideal person loves getting hands-on, is a problem-solver at heart and is extremely process-driven. It is looking for world-class mechanics who can help set up a highly scalable business and end up being the future leaders of a large, exciting business.
National dealer network development manager – Fantic
An exciting new opportunity now presents itself to appoint a dedicated e-bike dealer network development manager for this world-class brand here in the UK. The position will entail the development of an active dealer network and growth of sales to meet agreed targets and objectives. A flexible team player approach is essential and a personal interest in cycling will be an obvious advantage. A passing interest in motorcycles may help but is by no means essential. The position is based in its offices in Canterbury, working as part of a wider team. A company vehicle will be provided for business travel along with a company mobile and usual IT.
