Brand manager (x2) – Extra UK

Reporting to the head of brands, the successful applicant will be responsible for brand management. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent brand and product knowledge within the cycling industry as well as being a strategic thinker with proven commercial experience and a creative yet analytical mindset. Previous experience dealing with brands/ vendors and sourcing from the Far East is desirable although not essential. A passion and enthusiasm for cycling is also a big plus. The ability to work as part of a small but focused team is a must as is the ability to be self-reliant and to work on numerous projects at once.

Internal sales – Silverfish UK

This role will be one of the key links between Silverfish and their customers and will involve all aspects of sales and general customer support. The role will be office based and you will be responsible for taking and processing sales orders, managing existing sales accounts and also making direct sales calls to their dealer network. The successful candidate will be a capable salesperson but also capable of working to robust processes and procedures. Due to the technical nature of our product lines the successful candidate will have a strong interest in bikes and be knowledgeable about their brands and product lines.

Workshop mechanic – Evolution Cycles

Evolution Cycles is the premier cycle store in New Zealand with seven specialist bike stores throughout the country and they have openings for bicycle mechanics in a number of their stores.The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the workshop manager in the day to day running of the workshop, have excellent customer service skills, help the retails store with any sales, technical information and the undertaking of workshop jobs for customers. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in Bicycle Maintenance (2 years minimum) and a good track record in customer service.

Account support manager – Chicken CycleKit

Chicken CycleKit are looking for an internal account support manager to work closely with their customer base. The position involves a significant amount of telephone contact with customers. The successful candidate would ideally have technical knowledge of, and interest in, road bicycles, bike components, clothing, footwear and accessories, be a high energy person, have a very pronounced service ethic and a willingness to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations and be computer literate and a good communicator (both verbal and written).

Full time sales executive – KB Cycles

KB cycles Newcastle is recruiting a full time sales executive for its Newburn store. They have over 300 bikes in store and represent major brands such as Scott, trek, specialised, haibike, Raleigh, bergamont and transition. They are looking for a passion for cycling, previous experience in the cycling trade, the ability to work under pressure and focus on customer satisfaction at all times, use social media to give the business more exposure and e-bike knowledge is essential.
