Bike Mechanic – customer support, e-bike technical, service manager – Volt Bikes

This role will primarily involve managing and resolving customer technical issues, ensuring all tech work is completed in an organised and timely manner, keeping logs of all support enquiries, and associated work carried out, sending out spare parts to customers for repairs, and forecasting /managing spare part future purchase requirements, in-store PDI’ing of bikes ready for collections, walk-in customer repairs and general technical assistance and liaising with our sales/management team to give support whenever needed.

Workshop manager – Pedal Works

The candidate should have experience of building and maintaining the best equipment around and be familiar with the latest technical developments in road disk, electronic shifting and e-bikes. You’ll be confident under pressure and have excellent organisational skills. Additional technical training is available. Strong PC/Mac skills are a requirement too as Pedal Works makes extensive use of EPOS, web platforms and apps.

Mechanic – Cycleworks

The candidate will need the following mechanical skills: general bike servicing on all types of modern bikes, service writing, suspension servicing, bearing replacement, drivetrain, wheel building, internal cabling, and bar taping. Additional useful skills are bike and accessories sales experience, keen bike rider, social media experience, an understanding of stock control, basic computing skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

Technical support advisor – ZyroFisher

Based in Darlington and reporting to the technical support manager, the position is responsible for after sales warranty and technical support for all brands in the ZyroFisher portfolio except Sram. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: processing, repairing and servicing of returned products, recording returns data using Excel, Brand Web Portals and other software systems, provide telephone and email technical support to customers, end consumers and staff across the brands, perform road and mountain bike service work, repairs and PDI’s, service, repair or rebuild wheels and contact manufacturers to seek technical information, update department records and respond to queries.

Cycles sales assistant – All Terrain Cycles

All Terrain Cycles is currently recruiting a cycle sales assistant to join its small but dedicated team in the Wetherby bike store. You will need to be self-motivated with a passion for bikes. This role is a permanent full time position based upon a 40 hour week. Competitive salary dependent upon experience.
