Content editor – BSpoke Tours

BSpoke Tours is looking for a creative and passionate content editor to join its forward-thinking marketing team. Based in its Battersea office, you’ll have the opportunity to create and deliver inspiring content that brings its experiences and activity holidays to life. This role offers something unique in that there are three fantastic brands to work with. Ski Solutions, BSpoke Tours and Cycling for Softies, all part of The Active Travel Group. BSpoke Tours would love someone to step seamlessly into its fun and hard-working team and take its content plans to a new level for all these brands.

Workshop and operational support manager – Cytronex

This is an exciting, responsible and varied role that for the right candidate will allow them to grow their responsibilities as the business continues to expand globally. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the workshop and assembly operations are run efficiently, and provide technical support to both staff and customers, including developing and running the warranty and repair service. The skills we are looking for include: General workshop duties like fitting Cytronex C1, organising repairs and service; Wheel building (not essential but beneficial); Technical support to customers by email and phone; Stock management; Developing and improving repair and warranty records and communications; Helping to developing and improve parts and tracking methods in assembly; Ability to see the big picture and grow the brand; Working directly with the MD to company objectives.

Workshop assistant – The Bike Project

The primary purpose of this role is to assist the senior mechanic in the running of the Birmingham workshop through the cleaning, maintenance and repair of cycles donated to the charity with the purpose to a) meet the growing need that its beneficiaries have for bikes and b) to ensure a healthy ongoing stock of good quality used bikes to facilitate the growth of second-hand cycle sales. This is a largely developmental role with the focus being to build competence and experience with bike maintenance skills with the potential to progress and become a bike mechanic.

Retail sales associate – Café Du Cycliste

As a retail sales associate, your responsibilities will include: to welcome customers to the store and answer their queries; to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service; you will assist in maintaining the company standard to maximise sales and turn over; to greet, serve and advise clients, giving the best service possible at all times while introducing additional and alternative sales; to be fully conversant with the product range including performances, craftsmanship and stock availability; to handle returns of merchandise; to be flexible, organised and motivated; and to be a brand ambassador with a positive, enthusiastic and can do attitude team player.

Full-time mechanic – Corley Cycles

Corley Cycles requires someone to join its busy team in the workshop. It is looking for mechanics that are proactive, capable of working with the latest technologies in the industry, hardworking and can work with customers to give the best service. You will be completing jobs from basic services, puncture repairs and prep through to servicing and working on custom built bikes and helping at shop events. All jobs need to be completed efficiently and to a high standard. Industry experience and qualification is preferable, but it will offer training in-store where required. The store is open six days a week, but it also has several events on Sundays throughout the year so some Sunday working may be required. A working week would consist of five days per week and 40 hours. It offers a competitive salary, along with a bonus scheme and great staff discounts.
