Sales assistant – Ribble Cycles

The opportunity has arisen for a showroom assistant to join Ribble’s retail team at its flagship Birmingham showroom. Reporting into the showroom manager, the role will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Birmingham showroom, as well as deputising for the manager in their absence. The role will be focussed around sales and customer service; with the ideal candidate possessing an entrepreneurial flair to assist the manager in driving B2B sales and pursuing local opportunities to grow the brand’s presence and establish the showroom as a prominent local bike destination.

Bike technician/mechanic with commercial skills – Cycling Made Easy

Due to the continual growth within the e-bike sector, Cycling Made Easy has seen strong sales increase year on year and is looking for a mechanic who has appropriate skills and the desire to grow with us. It is looking for a full-time mechanic to join its busy workshop. The ideal candidate will preferably have previous experience of working in a busy bicycle workshop. An ability to learn quickly and cope under pressure is important. A Cytech Level 2 qualification would be preferred but not essential.

Full-time experienced mechanic – Cycling 2000

Due to the success of the business, Cycling 2000 is looking for an experienced mechanic to join the team and be based at its Lichfield branch. It is looking for someone with technical knowledge, who’s self-motivated and has genuine inter-personal skills. Your level of expertise will determine the rate of pay and role with potential management responsibility available. Working as part of the team you will work on a wide range of bikes and serve many varied customers, each customer to receive the very best in customer care.

Cycling guide – Mark Warner

Mark Warner is actively recruiting for cycling guides to work in one of its Mediterranean beach resorts. Main responsibilities: promote, coordinate and participate in guided tours for up to 12 guests, implement a cycling programme to accommodate all abilities, deliver the highest level of customer service, monitor and maintain a bike fleet of up to 20 road and/or mountain bikes, and relief duties with other departments including volleyball, football, local walks and evening entertainments.

Skilled technician – Mountain Mania Cycles

Mountain Mania Cycles has a new full-time vacancy for a skilled or semi-skilled technician who can also assist with sales when required. Essential skills require a flexible self-driven and motivated team player with excellent communication skills. To be knowledgeable and have an interest in cycling are essential but training for the right candidate will be provided.
