Mechanic /sales assistant – Rides on Air Cycles

Enthusiastic, flexible, confident and an interest in cycling with ability to work as a team player are essential along with good customer communication skills. Rides on Air Cycles caters for all types of customers from mountain, road, hybrid, e-bikes and childrens bikes with brands including Trek, Merida and Bergamont. Cytech trained an advantage but not essential and it will provide appropriate training and support.

Showroom manager – Ribble Cycles

The opportunity has arisen for a showroom manager to join the retail team at the head office in Preston. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Preston Showroom, including the leadership of the Preston retail team. The role will be focussed around customer support and advice during the purchasing process; with the ideal candidate possessing an entrepreneurial flair to drive our B2C and B2B sales as well as pursuing local opportunities to grow the brand’s presence and establish the showroom as a prominent local bike destination.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: collating information from brands and present them in an efficient, time-critical manner to the highest standard, conceptualise, design and build creative which meets the requirements of the global advertising media plans and marketing briefs, work within brand guidelines and brief specifications whilst challenging existing campaigns and ensuring the creatives are ever evolving, develop and build visual styles for both consumer and trade for print and online, report to the design manager and work alongside the marketing design team to help create unified campaigns across all mediums, and provide creative support to the wider design team and business wherever necessary.

As a junior buyer, your role will be to support the buyer in delivering a balanced, commercial, compelling and well-planned product range to present to our customers which reflects the integrity of the Cycle Surgery Brand. Responsibilities include: planning and selecting a commercial range of products meeting the company’s objectives, increasing profit and turnover, maximising commercial opportunities and minimising areas of risk by regular performance reviews and negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best price and margin for the product.
