Customer services team member – The Bike Club

This role revolves around managing the membership and offering customer service. You’ll be providing high quality customer care by responding to online member correspondence. No two days are the same, and you will be expected to assist in the following day to day tasks: respond to member enquiries using online platforms, processing and on-boarding new orders, manage returns, replacements and refunds when necessary, trying to solve member issues as efficiently and accurately as possible, management of member accounts, setting up and processing direct debits, updating stock levels on the website, and supporting the team to improve current processes.

Director and business partner – CarryMe Bikes 

You’ll be passionate about bikes and the difference they can make to lives, health, and the urban environment. In particular, you will be keen to see the use of cargobikes, trailers, child seats and other solutions grow as a green, healthy and convenient way of transporting goods and children. You’ll have a focus on working collaboratively to achieve common aims, and you’ll be able to slot into an existing business whilst bringing in your own ideas and skills to help the business grow. You’ll have energy and enthusiasm for the existing products and services, and ideally you will have experience in retail management, and be comfortable setting up retail-based procedures/practices.

Retail account manager – Weldtite Products

Due to continuing expansion, Weldtite Products is looking for an experienced retail account manager to join the team. Ideally based within commuting distance of Barton Upon Humber, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate success in the following areas: understanding, interpreting and fulfilment of major retailer expectations, developing existing relationships to their full potential, researching and exploring new opportunities and act as the ‘door opener’ for new retail business, confidence in all stages of the sales process from identifying the opportunity to having the drive to make it happen, interpreting and representing brand ethos for a portfolio of brands to significant customers and broader industry, and cycling related product development and applications, market conditions, competitor activities and trends.

Service administrator – Carbon Bike Repair

The primary role will involve being the first point of contact for customer enquiries, advising customers of carbon repairs, paint restoration and servicing, liaising with customers and providing technical support, booking in jobs and preparing/updating job sheets for the workshop, liaising with customers to schedule collection and delivery times by email/phone, packing/unpacking boxes and arranging couriers, process complete jobs by raising invoices and taking payment, and ordering stock, supplies and tools.

Sales lead/showroom manager – Rasen Sports

The main responsibilities would include: guide and instruct sales staff, share product knowledge and enthusiasm for bikes/outdoor sports gear with customers, build and maintain relationships with customers, strong leadership/coaching skills, custom bike sales (select compatible parts to build up a bare frame), participate in planning sessions to guide inventory selection and depth, high level of product knowledge of the brands, and take on specific tasks roles as appointed by management, such as inventory, merchandising, training, maintaining basic store supplies level, event support and community outreach.
