Solent (UK) Ltd t/a Windwave recently acquired the FIR agency for the UK, now the Hampshire company has landed Titec, the US components brand

Titec moves from Raw to Windwave

The switch from Raw to Windwave is the result of an "amicable agreement" said Solent MD Peter Nisbet, and will allow Raw Experience to concentrate resources on their core brands.

Titec was established in 1992. Its first product was a 118 gram titanium straight bar. The range now includes Hell Bent Bars, Big-AL stems, Berserker Saddles, X-wing Posts and Go Go grips.

For 2002 Titec will be expanding its ‘Knock–Rated’ programme which offers a three-year warranty on selected products against damage caused while riding.

"This guarantee will be attractive to both riders and retailers demonstrating confidence in products built to last from top grade materials drawing on experience and constant R&D," said Nisbet.

“The Titec brand sits neatly within our existing portfolio and our mission is to expand market penetration, brand awareness and brand image from a base firmly established by George Bowie at Raw.”
