Tiger Cycles has announced two major distribution agreements and a sales team appointment as the business enters what it describes as one of the most “transformative periods in its near 30-year history.”
The company has signed a partnership agreement to become the exclusive distributor for Messingschlager across the UK and Ireland. Messingschlager, one of Europe’s largest cycling wholesalers, offers a wide catalogue of components, accessories and OEM solutions, spanning wheels, drivetrains, lighting, tools and specialist parts.
Tiger Cycles said the agreement will position the business as a key gateway between European manufacturing and retail demand in the UK and Ireland, while helping to consolidate supply chains and simplify access to Messingschlager’s product range for dealers.
The Messingschlager agreement follows a separate distribution deal with tyre brand Kenda, marking two significant wins for Tiger Cycles.
The company said the partnerships reflect confidence from both Kenda and Messingschlager in Tiger Cycles’ ability to support the cycling trade and play a larger role in serving dealers across the UK and Ireland.

Tiger Cycles has also strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of Iain Pollitt-Walmsley to its sales team.
Pollitt-Walmsley joins an established network of regional agents and is expected to support retailers as Tiger Cycles expands its distribution portfolio.
His appointment underlines Tiger Cycles’ focus on service, expertise and dealer relationships alongside its growing logistics and distribution capabilities.
With industry experience and a reputation for building relationships with independent bike shops and regional chains, Pollitt-Walmsley is set to help retailers navigate new opportunities across the company’s expanded brand line-up.
