Thule CEO amongst first speakers for European Outdoor Summit 2018

The first keynote speakers have been announced for the European Outdoor Summit 2018.

This year speakers will deliver presentations based on the Summit theme ‘The Outdoor Industry – A Progressive Business Sector’, with the topic of outdoor digital as a key focus.

One of the first key speakers to be announced for EOS is Magnus Welander, CEO and president of Swedish outdoor equipment transportation, packs and luggage specialist Thule Group, who will present the keynote presentation titled ‘From Helping to Bring Stuff to the Trailhead – to Joining in the Fun!’The EOS takes place from the 19th-20th September 2018, at the Clarion Hotel and Congress Malmo Live, in Malmo Sweden and online delegate registration is now open. One of the first key speakers to be announced for EOS is Magnus Welander, CEO and president of Swedish outdoor equipment transportation, packs and luggage specialist Thule Group, who will present the keynote presentation titled ‘From Helping to Bring Stuff to the Trailhead – to Joining in the Fun!’

The driving force behind the transformation of Thule Group from a business associated with the automotive industry to a true sports and outdoor company, Welander took over the role as CEO in 2010.

The EOG also welcomes Skåne County as the Summit’s hosting destination. Located at the most southern tip of Sweden, Skåne is just a stone’s throw across the water from Copenhagen in Denmark.
