Thok to present MIG-HT at the Bike Festival in Italy

Thok will present the latest model of the MIG series, the HT, at the Bike Festival in Riva del Garda from 3rd to 5th May.

The MIG-HT, thanks to the Rock Shox Recon RL fork with a 120mm of travel and the 29in x 2.6 Maxxis Ikon plus tyres, ensures “excellent comfort on all terrains, from paved city streets to single tracks”, the brand has said. The motor is the new Shimano Steps E7000, with a 60Nm torque, powered by a 504Wh battery positioned, as on all MIG models, underneath the down tube.

It is fitted with a frame in 6061 T4 T6 aluminium with forged and CNC finished parts, hydro-formed tubes of varying thicknesses, Shimano Deore 11/42 gearbox, Tektro hydraulic disk brakes with 203mm and 180mm front and rear rotors respectively.

The brand has also said it is possible to buy a separate kit comprising mudguards, rear carrier, lighting system, kickstand and Schwalbe Big Ben 29in x 2.15 road tyres which can transform the model into an e-bike with an “even greater propensity for city riding and touring”. The ‘Tourer’ kit will be available shortly. The frame is also set up for lock fastening, not included, beneath the top tube.
