E-Cargo Bike Manager – Nonna Tonda LTD

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Cargo Bike Delivery Manager. Located in Camberwell, London, you will oversee our cargo bike delivery operations, ensuring efficient transportation while upholding our commitment to sustainability. While a basic understanding of cargo bike mechanics is required, preference will be given to candidates with good knowledge in this field.

Manage Delivery Operations: Supervise day-to-day delivery operations, including resolving any delivery issues, planning rider routes using Optimo delivery software, and continuously improving delivery service efficiency. Supervise Delivery Team: Organise rider rotas and holidays, recruit new riders, train new team members, and monitor rider performance to maintain high standards.

Maintain Fleet: Take full responsibility for the fleet of cargo bikes, overseeing maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections to ensure they are in optimal condition for daily use. Customer Relations: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, striving to exceed expectations and build strong relationships. Promote Sustainability: Champion our commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices by promoting cargo bikes as a greener delivery alternative.

Junior Buyer – Extra UK

Extra UK is a leading distributor of quality cycling products and is proud to represent a number of the world’s market leading brands supplying cycling retailers on an exclusive basis within the territory of the UK and Ireland. We are looking to recruit a Junior Buyer to join our highly motivated Buying team. This role will be based at our Head Office in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire with the requirement to be in the office a minimum of two days per week, potentially more during the probation period.

Reporting to the Buying & Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the buying department in an analytical and administrative capacity, along with working closely with the brand team to plan and achieve the best possible stock balance and availability; whilst ensuring stock turn is efficient.

Responsibilities and duties include: collaborating & providing support within the buying department, regular weekly and monthly updates to files ensuring demand data is updated, to enable better business decisions, creating and submitting purchase orders with suppliers, working closely with our Brand management team to understand key demand trends and apply these to forecasts, and regular communication with suppliers, ensuring goods are delivered on time and any problems are resolved efficiently.

A fascination for transportation, with e-bike knowledge is a benefit, as is strong and clear communication skills with internal team and external customers, and a proven track record of working in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include: e-bike maintenance, repair, and carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI), ensuring smooth take over and hand off with other mechanics in the workshop, tracking job progress to deliver timely servicing & maintenance, communicating effectively with teammates, with clear notes and updates to customers, and maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop.

Cycle Mechanics Trainer Coordinator – Bike for Good

Join our team! We’re looking for a Cycle Mechanics Trainer Coordinator (Cytech) to provide top-notch training and assessment to participants. If you’re passionate about cycling and have experience with Cytech, City and Guilds, and other training providers, this could be the perfect fit for you! The Cycle Mechanics Trainer will provide training and assessment of participants over the relevant training providers such as Cytech and City and Guilds, Bike for Good internal maintenance classes and other funded training courses and participant development opportunities.

Maintain professional upkeep of training suites and professional conduct to participants. Taking responsibility for pre & post-course workshop setup including all equipment and consumables are ready and available. Plan and prepare for each course and ensure all course materials are available at the beginning of each course.

Contribute to the evolving nature of the Training Academy and participate collaboratively in course design, structure and content. Ensure that Bike for Good’s commitment to delivering professional training is achieved at all times.

Cycle Technician – Bikespace

Bikespace is a Social Enterprise which was established in 2010 – please have a look at our website to find out more about our work. We are in the process of converting our organisation to a worker cooperative and from April this will bring further benefits for staff in addition to the profit share.

We are looking for Cycle Technicians to join our team servicing and repairing Plymouth’s fleet of shared e-bikes. Our e-bike workshop is responsible for the repair work and logistics associated with the fleet of over 500 e-bikes.

Requirements: Number one on our list is someone who is excited about the concept of shared bike schemes and seeing more people in our city cycling. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in an organised and efficient manner and pays attention to detail ensuring all jobs are carried out to a high, safe standard. You will be computer literate, our Beryl workshop is managed using an app based system. Previous experience as a technician/mechanic. We will consider applicants with this experience from outside the bike industry.
