Store Manager

Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op is a long established, respected independent bike retailer. Founded in 1977, we operate 6 retail outlets across Scotland and the North of England as well as an ecommerce operation supported by a large warehouse/ distribution centre on the outskirts of Edinburgh. As an employee-owned business, service quality and the customer are at the heart of what we do. We believe that great bike shops are built on strong leadership, high standards, and a genuine love for cycling and customer service. Our original main store in Bruntsfield is still very much at the heart of our business

This is a hands-on Store Manager role for someone who knows what a great bike shop looks like and takes pride in running one. You’ll lead from the front on the shop floor, develop a knowledgeable team, and take full ownership of the store’s performance, culture, and reputation.

As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day success of our store. You’ll balance commercial performance with exceptional customer experiences, ensuring the shop remains a destination for cyclists of all levels. This is not a back-office role. You’ll be actively selling, coaching, problem-solving, and setting the standard every day.

At Uprise, we’re not just another bike shop. We’re a movement. A space where passion meets innovation, where every customer journey is an adventure, and where cycling is more than transport—it’s a lifestyle.

And now, we’re kicking things off with something huge—our first-ever Uprise Bikes store in Bristol. This flagship store is being led by the brilliant team who, until recently, were charging ahead with the iconic Stif MTB store in Winterbourne. Their passion, expertise, and reputation for excellence will fuel Uprise’s mission to revolutionise the way people ride.

We curate the most exciting bikes, gear, and accessories on the market, blending cutting-edge design with a strong sense of community. Now, we’re looking for a driven and energetic Sales Associate to join our team and bring the Uprise experience to life.

As an Uprise Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of our brand. You’ll inspire, guide, and support riders of all levels—whether they’re buying their very first bike or upgrading to their dream ride. You’ll help shape a store experience that’s memorable, fun, and absolutely world-class.

We deliver world class kit and back it up with service that keeps riders riding and retailers smiling.

As we continue to grow across the UK and Europe, we’re looking for a motivated, practical, and bike mad specialist to join our Customer Service and Warranty crew. Based at Silverfish HQ, you’ll be right at the heart of the action, keeping our retailers and riders supported, and our warranty and service flow running smooth.

You’ll be a great connection point between Silverfish HQ, our brand partners, our sales team and our network of brilliant bike dealers. This isn’t just a desk job. You’ll be hands on, proactive, and properly involved. From diagnosing issues on the bench to sorting claims and keeping customers in the loop, you’ll help make sure every rider gets the best experience with our brands.

If you love being on the tools, enjoy a good technical puzzle, and get a buzz from finding solutions for people, you’ll fit right in.
