Senior Mechanic – BW Cycling

BW Cycling is one of the leading Cycle stores in the South West which has a number of services within it including, bike fitting, fitness testing, personal training, physiotherapy and massage. It sells some of the worlds best quality brands, Santa Cruz, Yeti, Scott, Whyte, Pinarello, Colnago, Enigma, BMC, Argon, Cervelo and more.

What are we looking for? An experienced mechanic with attention to detail who is: customer focused, good at solving problems, works well under pressure with high seasonal work loads, and able to provide quality back up for the rest of the team.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who wants to be part of a growing business and have the ability to work with hydraulic brake systems, electronic gear shifting and capacity to learn fast on the job.

Showroom Store Manager – Electric Life

The Electric Life Showroom is an electric bike specialist located in the heart of the Midlands. The Showroom provides a D2C channel for our own brands such as Dawes, Claud Butler, Pro Rider and Ben Sayers, as well as a growing number of third-party brands such as Orbea, Cannondale, Gocycle, Whyte, Stirling Eco, with more exciting brands to come.

To support our growth in this area and showcase our leading e-bike brands, we are hiring for an experienced and energetic Showroom Store Manager to run our store and build on the success of the last two years of trading. You’ll be responsible for all operations and the driving of performance on-site in a fast-paced environment, where the customer is at the centre of everything we do.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include: leading the showroom team to deliver world-class customer service and be an ambassador for all brands in our portfolio, leading by example and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and KPIs, ensuring store profitability by managing sales and costs, and being a leader and responsible for your team, managing performance and helping with development goals.

Experienced bike mechanic – Alpine Sports Morzine

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Morzine France.  We are a very busy Trek specialist rental bike shop in one of the top lift assisted mountain bike resorts in the world.

A 35-42 hour week in split shifts with two days off means that you will be able to ride every day. Duties will include maintaining our Downhill, Enduro and road bike fleet. Repairing of clients bikes, all brands. Selling of accessories. Setting up clients on our bikes and taking bookings.

The role runs from June to mid-September and accommodation can be sourced.

Mechanic/Wheelbuilder – Spa Cycles Ltd

Harrogate, not only where the forerunner of Cycling UK began and host to the Tour de France and World Road Championships; it’s also the home of Spa Cycles Ltd, one of the UK’s leading Touring Cycling Specialists. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Cycle Mechanic/Wheelbuilder. Whilst wheelbuilding ability would be desirable, we would also be pleased to consider a Mechanic who would like to gain these skills.

Responsibilities of the position include: assembly of custom-built bicycles and wheels, identifying faults, damage and wear, liaison with customers on bicycle and wheelset specifications, advising customers on repairs, and carrying out repairs, maintenance and general servicing, preparation of cost estimates for the above, and retail shop service.

The position is full time (40hr/wk) to include some Saturdays, although a job-share arrangement may be considered. We offer an attractive salary package commensurate with experience, the potential for overtime, 28 days pa paid holiday, a Company Pension Scheme and a generous staff discount programme.

Marketing Executive Europe & Distributors – German-speaking – Frog Bikes

At Frog Bikes, we’re on a mission to help more kids experience the joy of cycling. We design and manufacture a comprehensive and innovative range of lightweight children’s bikes. We believe that cycling is not only a fun and healthy activity, but also a valuable life skill that teaches independence, confidence, and a love for the outdoors.

With support from Frog Bikes’ Head of Marketing, E-commerce Manager and Marketing Manager, the European Marketing Executive is expected to deliver the following for European markets: key Account marketing, rep and sales support, partnerships, communications and planning, events, and market research.

Requirements include: German language to a high level (French language desirable), a qualification in marketing or a related field (preferable), 1-2 years of Marketing experience (preferable), great organisational skills, and an interest in cycling a bonus.
