Southern Cycle Representative

To continue the growth and diversification within our Cycle division, we are seeking to appoint a Southern Cycle Sales Representative to cover the South of the UK. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and organised individual to further enhance the service we provide to our customers and broader cycling community within this area. A strong passion for cycling and knowledge of our products would be highly advantageous.

The job is perfectly suited to someone from a cycle sales background, who is comfortable meeting with customers and end consumers, as well as carrying out role specific administrative functions. As a Cycle Representative at Lyon, the successful candidate will work within the Sales and Marketing team to sell and promote us and our brands to both new and existing cycle customers and the cycling community.

This is a full-time position which on average equates to 37.5 hours a week. We would expect the majority of work to be carried out between Monday and Friday, however this position will require regular overnight stays and some weekend working. The role would involve remote working, including regular travel to customers across the region, and to our offices in Cumbria.

Content Manager

We’re looking for a Content Manager who can tell our story with the same care and conviction we put into our bikes.  We’re looking for someone who knows what great content looks like in different contexts and understands how third-party (social media) content can be harnessed to build relationships and drive engagement back towards our owned channels.

This role is hands-on across the entire production process: ideating, planning, shooting, editing, posting, analysing, and doing it all again.  You’ll deliver our content strategy, and oversee its execution across our website, direct marketing, and social channels.

The Workshop Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and customer-focused operations within the workshop. This position involves direct interaction with customers, handling repairs, giving customers quotes on the spot, and managing repair priorities. The workshop Manager collaborates with colleagues and ensures that mechanics have a full workload. This role combines technical expertise, customer service, and efficient management to maintain a smoothly running workshop.

Qualifications/skills for this role will include excellent customer service skills. The Workshop Manager should excel in customer interactions, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors to the workshop. Proficiency in work planning. Effective workload planning is essential to manage repair priorities and maximise mechanics’ productivity. Technically competent ideally Cytech 2 equivalent qualifications, although other relevant qualifications demonstrating technical expertise is also acceptable. Great Communication Skills/Organisation. Clear communication and organisational abilities are crucial for coordinating with colleagues and managing repair tasks efficiently. Leadership skills. Although not directly responsible for performance management, the Workshop Manager should exhibit leadership qualities to guide the team effectively.

Logistics and Customer Service Coordinator

Working for a world leading, global bicycle brand, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys  variety and wants to develop their skills across customer service and logistics administration. We are looking for  a motivated, organised and proactive individual to join our team. Working closely with the Internal Sales,  Purchasing and Logistics Manager, you will provide essential support across a range of departmental functions.

The successful candidate will support with international imports and exports, assist with the daily dispatch of  products to our retailers and consumers, and carry out a variety of administrative tasks. In addition, you will act  as the primary point of contact for a small number of external customers, providing excellent customer service and high quality, organised administrative support to ensure the smooth running of their operations.

The successful candidate will be a highly organised and motivated individual, with previous administrative experience. You will have the ability to work in a time-critical, and on occasion, pressured environment, while  maintaining exceptional attention to detail. The role requires someone with a customer service focus to help provide day-to-day administration support for  a small number of external customer accounts. This includes, but is not limited to, the processing of orders,  dispatches, generating invoices and responding to customer inquiries.

Working in a small team, you will be a team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new skills to  support the wider business where required. You will be able to manage a varied and busy workload and must  possess an excellent understanding of MS Excel and Outlook, along with a general understanding of various  other IT functions.

Customer support & Bicycle technician

Providing excellent service to our Trade & Consumer customers, the successful applicant will ensure that all customer interactions are completed efficiently. In addition to aftersales trade & consumer enquiries, this role handles customer warranty claims & the preparation of orders for dispatch.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities for this role include providing a high-quality service to Trade & Consumer customers via the company’s communication contact channels. Handling warranty claims in compliance with the company’s terms & conditions, UK consumer rights & trading standards legislation. Maintaining ownership of Trade & Consumer customer complaints through to completion, ensuring that regular updates are provided where appropriate. Creating tickets within the I.T system for warranty claims & manage them through to completion. Providing accurate pre & post sales information & support sales functions as required. Attending shows and events. Promoting our brand at every opportunity when in contact with customers, communicating related products & promotions as required. Developing & maintain a good standard of company knowledge & use product knowledge to assist with sales opportunities as & when called upon. Preparing sales orders for dispatch, including safety checking of bicycles & picking/packing of accessories. Assisting with general warehouse duties, such as unpacking deliveries. Responsible for personal health & the safety of other work colleagues to ensure compliance with health & safety policy. Any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
