Mobile Bike Technician (fleet) – Fettle Bike Repair

We’re here to ‘reinvent repair’ and put the service back into bike servicing, for all types of bike fleets. We have designed the business around cyclists by making bike repair modern, accessible, convenient and hassle-free. We are searching for experienced bike mechanics who are great at communicating, able to deliver first-class repair and maintenance work, and are happy to work across multiple different sites to serve our growing fleet partnerships. This is an amazing role with a forward-thinking company, in a sector that is absolutely booming.

The Mobile Fleet Mechanic role is hugely important to us. A role that requires travelling to our clients’ sites, you will be responsible for building great relationships with our partners and carrying out first class bike (and e-bike/cargo bike) repair and maintenance work.

The variety of this role is what sets it apart. You will be working across multiple different fleets, solving all types of problems, and will be in the unique position to become one of the most sought-after type type of bike mechanic – the e-bike expert. Opportunities for growth and progression are aplenty in this role. This is a full-time role, with some weekend work required. Skilled Cycle Mechanic – The Bike Drop

The Bike Drop CIC is a local bike shop like no other. We specialize in offering the highest quality servicing and repairs on any bike or e-bike, a bike shop providing lovingly refurbished used bikes, new bikes and new accessories. We run a successful business that enables us to invest back into our community through paid cycle mechanic training placements, community E-Bike hire schemes and other elements all aimed at getting more people on bikes – this is called out community investment.

Working with The Bike Drop CIC means being part of a bigger family of other small community-minded businesses and social entrepreneurs, all under one roof. Long Table provides lunch for us every day (and for lots of paying customers), and Furniture Bank, and Kids Stuff are all based here. It means you get to work for a small organisation but have lots of indirect colleagues and a bigger team buzz. There’s also awesome barista coffee and cakes for sale at a staff discount along with staff discounts across all the businesses – and even a table tennis table and air hockey that is very popular with staff.

Our workshop is a haven for bike enthusiasts as we get an exciting range of new and old, road and MTB, E- bikes and everything in between. Senior Mechanic – Bike Club

Are you passionate about cycling, sustainability, and getting your hands dirty? Bike Club, leading the charge in children’s bike subscription services, is hunting for a dedicated Senior Bike Mechanic to rev up our operations for our UK cyclists. The Senior Mechanic will team up with the third-party logistics team to keep those wheels turning, ensuring bikes are serviced and ready to roll out.

At Bike Club, we offer subscriptions for children’s bikes that grow with your kids. Families pay a monthly fee, and when their children outgrow their bikes, we exchange them for a larger size. We refurbish the used bikes and make them available to other families. It’s sustainable and hassle-free. With over 80,000 bikes, we are the second-largest bike rental network globally, and the largest in the children’s bike sector. With over $50 million in funding, we are rapidly expanding across Europe. While our headquarters is in the United Kingdom, we are already active in Germany, Austria, Spain and the Netherlands.

Based in Rainham, London, the Senior Bike Mechanic will be a crucial player in ensuring Bike Club’s ongoing triumph and operational finesse. Your responsibilities include meeting daily bike production targets, ensuring bikes meet our quality standards, reporting issues to the Operations Team, and maintaining a clean and organized workshop. You’ll also support team member onboarding and prioritize health and safety procedures. Let’s pedal this adventure together.

Workshop Manager – Fettle Bike Repair

Fettle is a rapidly expanding bike repair and service company that is dedicated to promoting sustainable transportation and making cycling more accessible for everyone. We are passionate about providing the highest-quality repair and maintenance services for bicycles of all types, and we believe that our success depends on working collaboratively, continuously learning, and always putting our customers first.

As a Fettler, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service, and that our workshops are efficient, well-managed, and always up to standards. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of bicycle problems, recommending and selling appropriate parts and accessories, and maintaining accurate records of all repairs and transactions.

As a Workshop Manager will be responsible for the running and maintaining of an individual Fettle workshop, and ultimately will be accountable for the success and profitability of the workshop itself. They will oversee all touchpoints throughout the customer journey, ensuring that their team is following processes effectively and efficiently. They will be accountable for all operational aspects of the site, including stock, setup, and security, as well as the performance and development of the mechanics working in this site.

Accounts Assistant – Orange Bikes

Orange Bikes was established in 1988 and since that time we have become a cult favourite amongst enthusiasts and racers. Their silhouettes are un-mistakable as is our reputation for customer support. Our range is bigger now than it ever has been before, and we rely on partners both domestically and abroad to help bring our bikes to market. We work with some of the biggest names in the industry to deliver truly market leading products.

We are looking for an accounts assistant. Candidates for this position should have previous accounting experience. The position will predominantly focus on: purchase ledger (matching delivery notes to purchase invoices, processing purchase invoices, supplier statement checking, supplier payments), bank transactions (posting, coding, reconciling), sales ledger (statements, debt chasing, monthly reporting, customer queries), and other duties (email monitoring and replies, payroll cover, month end production tasks).
