Northern Cycle Representative

Lyon Equipment Limited is an employee-owned company, located between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Collectively we are mountain bikers, gravel riders, rock climbers, skiers, ultra-marathon runners, mountaineers, canoers, paddleboarders and outdoor enthusiasts. To continue the growth and diversification within our Cycle division, we are seeking to appoint a Northern Cycle Representative to cover the North of the UK.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and organised individual to further enhance the service we provide to our customers and broader cycling community within this area. A strong passion for cycling and knowledge of our products would be highly advantageous. The job is perfectly suited to someone from a cycle sales background, who is comfortable meeting with customers and end consumers, as well as carrying out role specific administrative functions.

As a Cycle Representative at Lyon, the successful candidate will work within the Sales and Marketing team to sell and promote us and our brands to both new and existing cycle customers and the cycling community. This is a full-time position which on average equates to 37.5 hours a week.  We would expect the majority of work to be carried out between Monday and Friday, however this position will require regular overnight stays and some weekend working.

Marketing Manager UK

KTM Bikes UK are recruiting a Marketing Manager to lead all UK marketing activity for the brand, working closely with KTM’s global marketing team in Austria. The hybrid role, based in the UK with travel as required, will see the successful candidate take responsibility for adapting KTM’s global campaigns for UK riders, dealers and media, while managing the brand’s digital marketing, PR, events and dealer support programs.

Key duties include managing the KTM Bikes UK website and social channels, building relationships with UK cycling press and influencers, planning product launches and demo events, and supporting the dealer network with marketing materials and campaigns.

KTM are looking for candidates with marketing experience — ideally within cycling, sporting goods or the outdoor industry — strong copywriting and project management skills, and a full UK driving license. Experience with dealer networks, event management and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is desirable.

Senior Mechanic

Full Beans Bikes is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic bike mechanic to join our team full-time at our new bike shop, workshop and café in Hackney. We’re building a modern, welcoming bike shop centred around a busy, high-quality workshop. Alongside servicing and repairs, we specialise in refurbishing and selling characterful second-hand bikes, particularly 80s and 90s mountain bikes rebuilt for everyday riding around London.

This is an opportunity to join a growing independent business at an early stage and play an important role in shaping how the workshop operates. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing and repairs while helping us build a workshop known for excellent work, honest advice and friendly customer service.

Prison Bike Mechanic Tutor – HMP Fosse Way

You’ll play a key role in helping men develop practical skills, confidence and qualifications that support a positive future after release. As one of two tutors, you’ll inspire and motivate learners, adapt your teaching to individual needs, monitor progress, maintain high workshop and safety standards, and work closely with prison staff, volunteers and the wider Life Cycle team. You’ll also contribute to quality assurance, record learner outcomes, and help ensure every refurbished bike leaves the workshop safe and roadworthy.

The role is both rewarding and challenging, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds, but you’ll be backed by an experienced team and have regular opportunities to share learning and best practice.

Senior Mechanic

A well established, boutique workshop with big plans is looking for an experienced & dynamic mechanic that can professionally grow to the next level. We are a small but growing high-end workshop, focused on providing a premium service to select clients in South West London. We are attracting demanding recreational cyclists, sports riders, commuters and families who only want the best. There’s been a bike workshop here for over 100 years with Cycle Central building on the great work done by Elswood Cycleworks, WF Holdsworth and others.

It will be hands-on! You will serving our clients, servicing their bikes while we incrementally transform the business together. On the job and external training will be provided to help you on your professional journey.

You will have worked to the highest standards on premium brands. You must demonstrate that you can be innovative, adaptable, be precise and create an aura of ‘can-do’ unflappability. You will be an expert mechanic, engaging with clients for at least 3 years and have have a detailed understanding of hybrid, road and TT bikes.
