Area Sales Manager – Bicycle Division – South West & Wales

The role of the Area Sales Manager is to deepen long-term relationships and expand the reach of Cannondale and Focus Bikes within the nominated territory. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be good with numbers, have an excellent eye for detail and motivated to help continue our commitment to their customers.

Reporting to the Commercial Director you will expand the sale of the Bicycle Division brands in line with company, area and dealer sales and margin targets. Build and deliver a strategy to meet company objectives in the sales area, planning sales periods in an efficient manner likely to increase stockists and sales. Build and maintain long-term relationships with retailers. Identify, recruit and develop new dealers for all elements of the brands. Manage territory accounts whilst delivering business consultancy to retailers. For key dealers create a seasonal business plan with clear product focus, sales targets and support plans. Identify brand presentation initiatives, maintaining brand presentation and experience to the highest possible standards. Planning and supporting territory events. Deliver product and sales training to Saddleback retailers. Represent the company values of Saddleback and be a brand ambassador within your territory. Work closely with the internal Customer Service team to develop their impact on the territory dealer base and resultant sales. Liaise with internal departments to deliver strategic plans, in store activity and seasonal plans profitably and to a high standard. Support sales of wider Saddleback brands by connecting dealers with other sales team members as appropriate.

Duties for this role will include actively pursuing all sales opportunities, providing honest advice, tailored to a customer’s individual needs. Maintaining a tidy, smart, safe and well merchandised shop floor. Using EPOS systems to process sales from start to completion. Providing excellent levels of customer service whilst dealing with customer questions, queries and issues. Working as part of a team, to complete daily and weekly tasks. Ensuring the safety and security of the retail floor team followed by the retail space and stock. Delivering above target KPI performance metrics. Supporting the Store Leader with stock and inventory management and reporting. HR functionality; work with Store Leader to manage processes for the retail floor e.g. disciplinary, values, ethics. Supporting the Store Leader in the development of the retail floor team including appraisals, probationary reviews and target setting. Building strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders throughout the broader business. Representing the business in an industry-leading way.

Cycle Sales and Dealership Officer

We are seeking a Cycle Sales and Dealership Officer to join our team at Pedal Power. This new role will be integral in supporting our mission to provide cycling opportunities for people of all abilities by managing the sales of new cycles and accessories, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the charity’s cycling dealership. You will work closely with the Director to deliver the best experience for our customers and further Pedal Power’s charitable objectives.

The Cycle Sales and Dealership Officer will play a key role in supporting Pedal Power’s mission by providing specialist dealership sales of adaptive cycles and supporting the rotation of the charity’s cycle fleet. As the main point of contact for customer sales, this role will be responsible for offering expert advice to customers and promoting the benefits of cycling, particularly for those with specific mobility or health needs. Additionally, the Officer will work to grow the sales income stream for the charity, developing new partnerships and business opportunities to further support the organisation’s impact.

Custom Apparel Account Manager – Cycling, Triathlon, Running Apparel

The Custom Apparel Account Manager is responsible for managing the administration of customer accounts and client relationships, with a focus on the development of customer sales. An active interest in the industry would be highly beneficial to make a connection with customers. The Account Manager will be expected to prospect new customers daily and support the overall brand development.

As a custom clothing company managing the graphic design process is a large part of the role, with the support of an internal graphic design team. This position allows great freedom for creativity in both supporting the design element for customers, but also in developing our own brand marketing. It offers a balance of strategic sales focus and creative licence.

You will work amongst a small team in the UK where you impact will be influential in the business development.
