Workshop Mechanic / Bicycle Technician

We are a Shimano Service Centre, Brompton Dealer, Tern Urban Mobility / Long-Tail Dealer, GoCycle Service Partner, Bosch eBike Specialist, and an experienced Magura dealer.
While we’re best known for our expertise in family, cargo, and utility bikes, our customer base also includes road cyclists, commuters, and mountain bike enthusiasts — offering an engaging variety of work. We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Workshop Mechanic / Bicycle Technician to deliver top-quality servicing and repairs with a strong focus on productivity, customer service, and quality control. You’ll manage workflow efficiently, maintain high workshop standards, and communicate clearly with both customers and colleagues.
Peaty’s is growing and we’re looking for an Operations Assistant / Operations Coordinator to join our team at our HQ in Wrexham, North Wales. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, problem solving and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Working closely with our Operations Manager and warehouse team, you’ll help coordinate orders, shipments and logistics to ensure Peaty’s products get from our warehouse to riders, distributors and retailers around the world. Every day is a little different in a fast-growing business, so this role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being part of a small team. If you’re into cycling, mountain biking or the outdoor industry, this is also a chance to work inside a global brand built by riders.
Duties for this role include processing and managing customer and distributor orders. Allocating stock and updating orders in our order management system. Coordinating shipments with carriers and freight partners. Obtaining shipping quotes and booking deliveries. Preparing documentation for international shipments. Updating customers and distributors on order and shipment status. Issuing invoices and credit notes. Maintaining accurate customer and order records. Responding to customer enquiries relating to orders and deliveries. Supporting the warehouse and operations team with general operational tasks when needed.
Giant Leeds is an exciting new addition to the Giant Store network. Opening in April, selling a wide range of Giant and Liv products this store will break new ground and be an exciting place to work, forging new relationships with the community. Although a member of a wider group, the store will operate like an independent shop, and it will be your responsibility to deliver excellent customer experiences.
You’ll be responsible for high quality service work, as well as being on hand and supporting the team when busy. You will be a key factor in the store’s performance, culture, and reputation.
As Bike Technician you will be responsible for our reputation for high quality servicing and of after-sale care. An attention to detail, a high level of workmanship, and great communication skills are important. This role is for experienced technicians who are capable and knowledgeable of the manner of technical aspects from Day 1. This is not a workshop-only role, although it will be your responsibility to complete services and repairs, you will also be relied upon to be the technical lead for your colleagues.
Buyer – Parts, Clothing & Accessories (PAC)

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a commercially astute Buyer – Parts, Clothing & Accessories (PAC) to take full ownership of category performance and strategic direction. This is a high-impact role for an experienced retail Buyer who thrives on accountability, commercial ownership and delivering measurable growth.
You will lead the PAC category with clear responsibility for delivering sales, margin and stock turn targets. Developing and executing a forward-looking category strategy. Driving profitable growth through data-led ranging, pricing and promotional mechanics. Securing best-in-class commercial terms and supplier partnerships. Optimising supplier base and supply chain efficiencies. Managing product lifecycle to maximise ROI and minimise aged stock. Identifying new brand opportunities and competitive market gaps. You will operate with significant autonomy, influencing senior stakeholders and shaping the future direction of the category across retail and ecommerce channels.

We are looking for someone with experience in Retail and Sales or a willingness to gain experience. They also need to have a genuine passion for cycling. A customer service driven mindset. Great communication skills. A flexible mindset, willing to work additional hours and cover shifts when necessary. High standards and attention to detail. Some cycle specific technical knowledge would be advantageous.
