We’re looking for riders who either want to take their career in the bike industry to the next level. We need you to be: Proactive, hardworking, good with computers, and most importantly, totally passionate about bikes! You’ll be working in our busy workshop, chatting with customers, and being part of a team servicing and building all sorts of bikes, from kids’ entry-level models to the latest Emtb giants.

You’ll need a decent understanding of computers and be able to use/learn our workshop diary and EPOS till system. As part of our workshop team, you’ll also be involved in stock-taking and talking to manufacturers/suppliers when needed. We’re all about treating everyone with respect, so you’ll be expected to be professional and friendly with all customers and suppliers. All applicants need at least two year’s experience in the bike industry and a recognized accreditation like Cytech level 2, plus familiarity with Bosch eBike systems.

Head Mechanic

Wicked Bikes is a busy bicycle workshop and retail space based at Hackney Bridge, a lively canalside destination surrounded by cafés, restaurants and creative businesses. We are a small and friendly team of riders and mechanics who enjoy what we do and take pride in offering reliable, high-quality service to our local cycling community.

We are looking for an experienced and confident mechanic to join our workshop full-time. This position suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and keeping bikes in top condition. You’ll work independently most of the time, but in a supportive team where experience and good communication are valued.

Main responsibilities for this role include carrying out repairs and servicing to a high standard. Help with workshop organisation and stock control. Occasionally assist customers with bike or accessory sales. Maintain a tidy, safe and efficient workspace.

Road Room Management

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our team in the role of The Road Room General Manager. The position will be Hertfordshire based but you will also be required to travel to other locations when required. A full UK driving license is essential.

The successful candidate will need a good overall knowledge of the cycle industry and have a good knowledge specifically of the road sector. Qualifications in Bike Fitting and Mechanics are preferable but not essential. Day to day tasks will include management of operations at our Tring sites and also overseeing The Road Room sector in our other locations. Range planning, training, online media and stock control will fall to the successful applicant.

You will need to be happy working with computer programmes, EPOS and be happy to manage products and data online via our website and EPOS systems. A high level of professionalism is required as you will be responsible for dealing directly with customers and staff & be responsible for all aspects of taking The Road Room forward into a new era to ensure growth and stability for the future.
