The Silo has taken on distribution of the RST range in the UK.
Geoff Greaves of The Silo got in touch today to tell BikeBiz: "I have been involved with RST in one way or another since about 1995. In 2001 The Silo was created just as a small wholesaler using only the telephone as its representation to the retailer. Due to my past relationship with RST, retailers and bicycle distributors have regularly contacted me on the incorrect assumption that I was still doing warranty and sales for RST. It’s rare I ever turned anyone away.
"For eight years now RST has not had any official UK distributor, hence no one looking after warranty. It will take until January or February to get the warranty side in place, but after that I expect to be up and running.
"We will be selling a wide range of RST forks for the aftermarket. In recent years a growing number of small retailers have started building their own bike brands in a small way, for these guys we will stock a range of OEM forks."
