Visitors to the Cycle and Leisure show will be invited to log on to CyberTill’s website to register for a trial version of the new software and to enter the CyberTill Grand Draw.
The bike trade is the first retail sector getting a pot shot at the Cybertill prizes, and it’s highly likely the first monthly prize winner will be an IBD. However, after the show, the Cybertill promotion will be rolled out to other retail sectors.
The February prize winner will be drawn by that bastion of impartiality, er, Carlton Reid, editor of BicycleBusiness. The first winner will be revealed in the Show Special Issue of BicycleBusiness, available from Sunday onwards.
The closing date for the Grand Draw is September 30th with the winning entry being drawn on October 1st.
The names of all those who have visited the company website over the promotion period will be entered into the Grand Draw and the winner will receive a complete CyberTill EPoS and e-Commerce package including hardware with a combined value of more than £10 000.
“And if the winner has already invested in a unique CyberTill system we will refund the entire cost, up to the value of £10 000,” said MD Ian Tomlinson.
CyberTill operates as an Application Service Provider (ASP)– a platform that maintains computing facilities over a virtual private network.
CyberTill customers also plug into an e-commerce interface allowing them to access a mass of web-based information, and market and sell their products over the Internet.
Tomlinson is confident that CyberTill will be a major player in the retail sector, not just the bike trade, and invites potential customers to ‘try-before-you-buy.’
