Team Recycling/MG Xpower signs with Moore Large

The team will be using the new Schwinn LTD Edition framesets, made of the Schwinn Platinum N’Litened alloy tubes and all the bikes will feature the new FSA K-Force lite carbon bars and seatposts and use the new OS115 stems, which are machined from a single aluminium billet and finished with a carbon front cap.

"The involvement emphasizes our commitment to the branded products we carry and our investment within the sport of cycling for now and for the future," said Gary Mather, Moore Large sales director.

Headlining the team is triple national champion Russell Downing, formerly of the Life Repair team. The other members are brother Dean Downing (a double national champion), Robin Sharman, Kristian House, cyclo-crosser Shaun Snodden, Ben Greenwood, Emma Davies and Lorna Webb.

The recycling.co.uk/MG XPOWER team machine will take part in Premier Calendar races dominated by Life Repair in 2002 and 2003, as well as the re-born Tour of Britain and UCI 2.5 and 2.6 races in Europe.

Recycling is a scrap metal and IT equipment recycling company based in the north of England. MG XPOWER is a subsidiary of MG Rover and is supplying cars to the team.

Other sponsors are Madison, which has supplied Dura-Ace gruppos, warmweathercamps.com and Acorn Hotels.
