Sun Race Sturmey-Archer Inc.(“SunRace”) announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously approved the appointment of Sandy HSU as the company’s new Chairman, in a move the company says marks a pivotal and strategic leadership transition for the 54-year-old industry member.
The newly appointed Chairman, Sandy HSU, is the daughter of the founder and outgoing Chairman, Tony HSU, and has already dedicated over 30 years to SunRace. She has headed core divisions including corporate finance, international legal affairs, and global operations, most recently serving as Corporate Spokesperson and Vice President, while also serving on the Board of Directors for over five years. Her deep operational knowledge and decisive leadership style make her exceptionally qualified to steer SunRace into its next era.
“SunRace has spent more than five decades building a fortress of engineering excellence and patent integrity,” said the new Chairman. “As we move forward, we are executing a highly disciplined transition toward lean management and elevated manufacturing standards.”
Expressing absolute confidence in his successor, the outgoing Chairman remarked: “She is not only the keeper of our family’s long-standing commitment to this industry, but she is also an experienced operational strategist within SunRace, having fought on the front lines with our teams for three decades. Under her ironclad governance, I am certain SunRace will reach new heights.”
International distributors and OEM partners can look forward to a seamless transition that reinforces supply chain resilience and technical innovation. With this robust leadership foundation established, SunRace is strategically positioned to navigate current market headwinds and accelerate mutual growth with global partners heading into 2027.
