New UK distributor 2WT LTD are proud to announce that Stop-a-Flat ‘inner tubes’ are available to UK and European bike dealers.
Stop-a-Flat inner tubes – a new design of solid inner tube – have been developed in South Africa and are manufactured from a similar material to Crocs shoes. This gives a riding experience similar to that of pneumatic inner tubes. They simply replace the traditional tubes.
“The Stop-a-Flats are available in a number of sizes from 12 ½” through to 26”, and widths of 1.75” and 2.125” at each size,” says Mark Meadows from 2WT LTD. “The particular grade of EVA used provides a firm yet cushioned feel, but crucially means that the wheels are not put under any additional load, which was a drawback of previous solid tubes.”
2WT have setup a website dedicated to Stop-a-Flat and dealers can apply for a trade account through the web or by contacting 2WT directly. Retail pricing ranges from £19.99 to £24.99 each.
