High profile riders' pedalling efforts rewarded with huge haul for charity

Sport Relief cyclists raise £1m+

The BT Sport Relief Million Pound Bike Ride ended last night, topping its £1 million target.

The non-stops four-day ride saw seven celebrities pedal from from John O’Groats and Land’s End.

Coverage for the high-profile ride has already been widespread in the cycling and mainstream media, and is set to reach an even wider audience in the run up to Sports Relief weekend on March 19th to 21st.

The ride ended on Thursday March 4th at 18:50 after the riders reched Land’s End and raised £1,006,509 for Sport Relief.

A number of companies from the cycle trade supported the ride, including British Cycling, Dolan, SRAM and Zyro.
