Split Second Imports has announced the arrival of an in-house scooter label, dubbed Ixia.
A range of four scooters, spanning £99.99 through £179.99, as well as aftermarket components feature in the new catalogue. Each scooter will come in either a ‘mild’ or ‘wild’ design.
Dan Haynes of Split Second told BikeBiz: "The feedback we have had so far from retailers has been exceptionally positive, especially with reference to the quality and finish of the parts, and also with reference to how they compare to the leading, established brands in the scooter industry.
"All four types of scooter wheel were designed in-house here in Cheddar and are therefore not simply “off-the-shelf” generic Taiwanese wheels with a logo simply slapped on. We debuted the entire range at the Cycle Show at the NEC recently and the response was terrific, so we’re delighted to finally have them in stock and available to ship to dealers. However, we only have limited numbers of the scooters this side of Christmas and they are already selling fast, so my advice to dealers would be to grab some sooner rather than later!"
