Specialized dumps BMX line?

US consumer site BikeRumor is reporting that Specialized is to dump its Fuse BMX line.

The move is said to be in favour of progressing its line of 24-inch dirt and street bikes, which come under the P-Series banner.

The low-end of the P-Series range is expected to carry two models costing $500 (around £325 at current rates). These will be built using Reynolds steel tubing, carry a handful of own-brand parts, as well as clear plastic pedals, three-piece crank and rigid forks.
