Sidi has launched the Prima 2 and Prima 2 Woman road cycling shoes, priced at €159 and positioned as an affordable route into the Italian brand’s performance footwear range.

The price is central to the proposition. At €159, the Prima 2 packages features commonly associated with performance road shoes into a model intended for everyday riders, including Sidi’s NUUN 002M single-dial closure for on-the-bike adjustment.

The lightweight microfibre upper is paired with a 3D mesh tongue for ventilation and support. Underfoot, the R2NC-2 nylon composite sole has a stiffness index of five, aiming to balance pedalling efficiency with enough flex and comfort for regular riding, while the Cozy Millennium insole adds cushioning.

Sidi said the shoe’s anatomical shape is designed to follow the contours of the foot for a secure fit. Replaceable components include the closure rotor, removable insole, three-hole T-nut and heel cleat, which could help riders extend the usable life of the shoe and strengthen its value credentials.

The Prima 2 is also available as the Prima 2 Woman. Both versions carry a suggested retail price of €159.
