Shutt Velo Rapide team with Always Riding

UK clothing manufacturer Shutt Velo Rapide has teamed with online retailer AlwaysRiding.co.uk to create a new line of cycling jerseys celebrating British motorsport’s heydey.

Due to be released in time for the Specialized Silverstone Sportive on July 4th, the new jerseys will be available to buy in three colour ways at Alwaysriding.co.uk, each reminiscent of a particular period in motor sport history.

Constructed from ‘Sportwool’ and manufactured in Yorkshire, the new jerseys are designed for a close fit, and are replete with an eye catching vertical stripe that subverts traditional jersey design in favour of a nod to the heyday of motor sport. Whilst at the rear the stripe continues, running down to meet the three rear pockets that provide ample space for on the bike storage.

Speaking about the collaboration, Peter Harrington of Always Riding said, “We love cycling, but we also love classic motorsport, so being able to work with Shutt Velo Rapide and collaborate on a new jersey together that spoke to both of these passions was a great experience. As a company, Shutt Velo Rapide is doing great things for the cycling community, not only are they are easy to deal with, they offer fast production turn-around to the highest quality, which is vital for an online business like ourselves.”

Simon Warren, managing director for Shutt Velo Rapide commented, “With our shared love of cycling and quality cycling wear, we are enormously flattered to be selected by Always Riding for this unique collaboration.”

Warren added, “Shutt is currently expanding into the retail arena and our partnership with Always Riding is our first step in this direction. We are actively on the look-out for more retail partners to engage with to bring our top quality clothing line to market.”
