Shimano shifts stock of Nordic operation to The Netherlands

Shimano’s Europe Holding BV will handle the warehouse facilities of Shimano Nordic Cycle (Sweden, Norway and Finland) through its premises in Nunspeet, in the Netherlands, as from the end of 2008. This central stock control will offer several benefits such as a higher fill ratio in combination with reduced costs.

Preparations are currently being made to build a new warehouse facility (4.450 m2) in Nunspeet. If everything runs according to plan, Shimano intends to shift the stock of the Nordic operation before the end of 2008.
