Shimano has announced its continued “support towards women’s racing, combining elite performance with rider-driven innovation to inspire the next generation.”
The news comes in the form of a partnership extension, supporting the UCI Women’s WorldTour Team, FDJ-SUEZ for another four years.
Shimano has supported the team since 2023 and says they will remain the official technical partner into the 2025 and 2026 road cycling seasons.
Created in 2006, FDJ-SUEZ were the first French team to join the UCI Women’s WorldTeam, with a current roster of 18 athletes from five different nationalities.

The team will get support as well as Shimano products, including its DURA-ACE Di2 wireless groupset.
In a period where the team has experienced significant changes in sponsorships, it was crucial for us to preserve this incredible journey with Shimano. This brand not only represents technical excellence but also stands as a long-term partner with whom we’ve built strong connections over the years. Extending this partnership was a priority for us, as it reflects our shared values and commitment to performance and innovation. – Stephen Delcourt, General Manager of FDJ-SUEZ
This year’s team roster includes Demi Vollering, winner of the 2023 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, French National Champion, Juliette Labous, Elise Chabbey, and Ally Wollaston. The team secured 13 victories in 2024, including two national titles, numerous stage wins across several General Classification races, and two One-Day Classic races.
It’s clear that women’s cycling isn’t just growing – it’s transforming. Shimano wants to inspire the next generation of women cyclists to dream even bigger, and our partnership with FDJ-SUEZ reflects Shimano’s commitment to the sport. – Yuzo Shimano

In the announcement, Shimano says that beyond the 2025 and 2026 season, both organisations have agreed to extend for two additional years.
