Manufacturer of patented waterproof and breathable accessories SealSkinz has announced their appointment of Brendan Collins to the position of national accounts manager.
Collins will report to US country manager Shawn Pritchett. "Brendan’s relationships and his knowledge of specialty retail, combined with his outstanding sales and customer service skills, set him apart from other candidates," stated Pritchett. "He’s a great addition to our team.”
Collins most recently worked for bike and outdoor accessory manufacturer Seattle Sports Company, starting there in 2013 as its western sales manager. He became its national sales manager in mid-2014, handling key outdoor specialty retailer accounts in the US and Canada and directing its sales team.
Prior to this, he worked in sales and customer service for camping equipment manufacturer Exped and the Minneapolis-based retailer Midwest Mountaineering, where he was a department coordinator for three-and-a-half years. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, he also has experience guiding kayak and overland tours in New Zealand.
