Bikes from Silver Fox, Universal, CBR, Concept and Falcon remain on the electricals section of Tesco.com.
The Grattans trial started two weeks ago but Stanforth said is was against Saracen’s best interests to continue.
"The £249 Saracen Buzz was never in Tesco stores but even online it’s not where we want to see the Saracen brand going. We asked Grattans to remove the bike from the Tesco offering and it was gone by Tuesday morning.
"Our products are getting more technical. We need retail partners who can sell technical products and Tescos doesn’t fit that profile. Saracen doesn’t suit a supermarket environment," said Stanforth.
The most expensive bike on Tesco.com right now is the £299 CBR Rivertail, equipped with disc brakes front and rear.
