Sales manager of South African MTB brand Pyga visits UK bike shops

Ollie Burnett, sales manager for South African bike company Pyga Industries, was in the UK last week visiting high-end bike shops. Pyga is extremely well known in South Africa but less so in the UK, hence the visit by Burnett.

He told BikeBiz that the dealer visits were to support Pyga’s UK agents Sean Reynolds and Dave Barton.

Singletrack Magazine described Pyga’s 29er – the OneTen – as a "truly great all-round machine" and that "if you’re after one mountain bike to do it all, this needs to be very, very close to the top of your list."

Pyga was founded by Patrick Morewood, founder of Morewood bikes, and Mark Hopkins, of cSixx products and co-founder of Leatt.

Burnett can be seen here on the left with Sean Reynolds at Sherwood Pines Cycles. Reynolds is Pyga’s agent in the south of the UK, with Barton covering the north.
