Saddleback to distribute Enve in Germany and Austria

Saddleback is to take over responsibility for managing Enve Composites in the German and Austrian markets.

It has also welcomed Lenny Karsmakers to the team in the role of territory manager for Germany and Austria.

Karsmakers, who most recently was European sales director at Troy Lee Designs, will oversee relationships with dealers, manage events programmes, be the principal point of contact with the German and Austrian press and will work alongside Enve and other brands.

Saddleback commercial director Neil Towns said: “We’re excited to welcome Lenny to the team.

“She brings a wealth of experience of working with premium performance brands that will complement everything Saddleback stands for.

“As a dedicated cyclist and triathlete, Lenny also reflects our authentic connection to the sport, which is key to the Saddleback culture.

“Our new business interests in Germany and Austria will, I have no doubt, flourish and Lenny will play a key role in this success.”

Karsmakers added: “It is a great pleasure to start this exciting journey and become part of such a professional company, but one that also maintains its family-feel.

“Saddleback has established itself as the most prestigious distribution company in the UK bicycle industry and with the new expansion into Germany and Austria for Enve Composites, a new chapter begins.

“My position as territory manager for Germany and Austria entails a broad spectrum of tasks that will focus on building our brands while respecting local markets’ business cultures and expanding the high-profile reputation of Saddleback while staying true to the company’s core values.

“A nice challenge lies ahead and I am looking forward seeing the first green shoots of progress appear during 2019.”
