Evans Cycles-sponsored league now covers the full season

Road.cc’s Fantasy Cycling is bigger than ever

Putting cycling fans in the shoes of team directors, Road.cc’s Fantasy Cycling league is returning for a full 2011 season.

This year Evans Cycles is sponsoring the ‘fantasy football’-esque competition, which saw 2,800 entrants in 2010 when the competition covered the Tour de France and Vuelta.

The game will run from the Spring Classics to the World Championships, taking in three grand tours and a host of other races along the way. There will be prizes for overall season winners and also for grand tour winners and spring classics winners among others.

Prizes include a Madone 5.2 for the Tour de France winning entrant (worth £2,800) as well as other big prizes from BMC, Fuji and Garmin. Overall season winner will receive £1,000 for an Evans Cycles shopping spree.
