Schwalbe has welcomed Richard Barling as Sales Promoter for the Midlands area and Wales.
Working alongside existing Sales Promoters Ben, Grant, and Ed, Derbyshire-based Richard will be supporting retailers across his area, offering expert technical advice, marketing support, and in-depth training on the full range of Schwalbe products.
Richard brings a unique background to the role. After many years touring the globe as a live sound engineer, he made a career switch in 2020 to pursue his passion for cycling. He began as a bike mechanic before moving into premium e-Bike sales with Fully Charged, where he became Sales Manager of their flagship store. He’s a self-confessed family cargo e-Bike geek who harbours a fondness for classic ’90s mountain bikes.
Richard is looking forward to connecting with shops in his area and building strong relationships across the cycling community.
He will be covering stores in the following postcode areas: B, BT, CF, CH, CV, CW, DE, DY, GL, HR, LD, LE, LL, NG, NP, SA, ST, SY, TF, WR, WS, WV.
