Restrap unveils new Repair Packs, made from repurposed wastage

Restrap has announced the launch of its latest offering: Repair Packs, crafted from repurposed waste materials.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the Repair Packs enable riders to maintain and extend the lifespan of their gear.

Black iron-on repair patches can be applied to bags, repairing most holes or areas of wear after heavy use. Patches are waterproof when applied and the supplied wallet is made from repurposed waste fabric from the Leeds-based brand’s cutting process.

The new Repair Packs offer an accessible and sustainable way for adventurers to address wear and tear on their beloved bikepacking bags, ensuring they stay functional for countless journeys to come.

Each Repair Pack is crafted from repurposed waste materials generated during the manufacturing processes, transforming what would have been discarded into valuable resources for repair and maintenance. By utilizing these materials, Restrap aims to close the loop on its production cycle and contribute to a more circular economy.

Luggage and accessories made in a sustainable way have been at the heart of Restrap since 2010, when the brand was borne out of a need for pedal straps that would never break, made from recycled seatbelt.

Restrap’s Repair Packs are available exclusively through the ‘Spares’ page on their website, and will be part of a comprehensive customer after care program offered by the brand. In sharing the news of the Repair Pack launch, the brand has also confirmed that they remain committed to offering a lifetime warranty on all of their products, noting that the Repair Packs will enable customers to perform minor repairs quickly and easily.

The Leeds-based bikepacking brand, has recently announced the appointment of Colin Williams as international sales manager. Williams joins Restrap to help enhance the company’s global presence and provide service to customers worldwide.

Restrap is currently present in 27 countries across the globe. Over the past 18 months the business has brought UK distribution back in house, and developed a USA based facilitation service, enabling direct-to-customer shipping from within the USA.
