Renthal enters pedal market with the Revo-F

Renthal has expanded its portfolio and stepped into the flat pedal market with the release of the Revo-F.

Featuring ride-tuned external features and patent pending internals, the Revo-F has a two-axis concave pedal body, fully usable pedal platform and a pin system for fine tuning grip levels.

The Revo-F spins on an extra wide Igus bush and three cartridge bearings, with the internals fully sealed
from the elements.

Patent pending internals allow easy home maintenance, using standard tools.

A spokesperson for Renthal said: “The Renthal Revo-F is packed with unique features to deliver the ultimate Ride-Tuned on trail performance, tuneable grip levels, ease of maintenance and bomb-proof durability.

“As a key contact point, the level of performance of the pedal and rider choice needed to align with
our renowned handlebar, stem and grip range. Obviously making the pedal as durable as possible
was a massive driver behind our design rationale.”

From the outset, Renthal wanted to make the lightest product possible. However, with the Revo-F project, the brand refused to compromise its design goals to chase a few grams.

To give the ultimate control, the brand added material to develop a genuine, deep concave body. Having a fully usable pedal platform was achieved by increasing the axle length of the Revo-F, to offset the pedal from the crank.

Rock strike durability of the bearings was improved with a full-length axle, which is essential for flat pedals. To further improve rock strike performance, keeping the front face of the pedal smooth, to slide over rocks, rather than grabbing at them is an added feature.

The Renthal Revo-F flat pedal retails at £154.95 and is available for retailers to order now from Ison Distribution.
